Soccer Frenzy

We just started soccer. This is our first year and it means three nights a week and saturdays! Hannah and Megan have a soccer clinic indoors on friday nights, Austin has joined the Mighty Lions and had his first game this past saturday. He has practice twice a week. The pictures are SOOOOOOOOOO cute. Austin hasn't decided if he loves all the runnning, but time will tell. Jason and I were very excited during the game on saturday, it was alot faster and more entertaining than baseball.

Family Vacation

Whew, we are home from our 9 day road tripping, relaxing, camping/vacationing. We started out at a condo in Lake Tahoe for 5 days. That was great fun! Jason and I and the kids really had a good time. We enjoyed great weather and lots of beach and pool time. We then spent an entire day driving to UTAH, which 10 hours in the car went VERY WELL. Kids were great and there were only a few times I wanted to strangle Jason. Just kidding it went good, much better than I thought it was going to. SO much that I want to go on another road trip vacation next year. Once in Utah we had a great time at the family reunion, reuniting with everyone. I am not a fan of camping and the weather was rainy with thunderstorms every day, but it was still nice and muggy the rest of the time. We got there thursday night and it WAS POURING DOWN RAIN. But there was sun and pony and hay rides and the KIDS HAD AN ABSOLUTE BLAST.

Needless to say, we left on saturday to head home and arrived today on sunday and I am glad to be here. I have tomorrow to get it together and head back to work on tuesday. I hope that everyone elses summer is going well.

Austin's thoughts on his first day back to school

Austin started first grade yesturday. I asked him what he thought about it and he said, " It's awesome!." Later on he told me that they had three recesses. He was very excited as they had "hundreds" of monkey bars which he told me he could go all the way to the other "thing." He was excited about seeing his old friends from last year( his class is 17 old kids and 3 new kids) He said they were called "new students." He's not sure what his teachers name is, (its Mrs. Huen) but he said that she was nice, so far. I asked him how he liked eating lunch at school, he said that there was some yummy stuff in his lunch (good job mom) . But then last night he had to check with me and make sure that I made him another lunch, "because I ate all mine today, mom."
I can't wait to see what this school year brings.

Jason turns 32

I can't believe its the middle of July already! Where has the summer gone? Jason turned 32 on Tuesday and we all went to his favorite buffet for dinner. He has been to two concerts this weekend as a gift to himself for his birthday. Jason and I will be going to Fontana for the Nascar race as my gift to him. And we get a night away together!

Austin starts school on Monday and I am in shock that he is in first grade, already. A little sad too:(
Austin lost his top tooth, and the other one is super loose too
I am looking forward to vacation and fall! I am getting ready for pumpkins and crisp air and apples. I still want to enjoy the summer weeks ahead but with Austin starting school it just makes me excited for those things too

I should have some tomatoes from my garden ripe coming up soon. I NEVER thought I could grow things. its amazing

July Update

HI

well its HOT! so hot that we are in the pool every day and its nice and a warm 83 degrees ( too warm for some, never for me!)

I wanted to post a quick hi to all so I could share my new blog. I have been trying to work on this and get it just "perfect" so since that's not happening any time soon I am going to add some recent pictures and sign off. We have had some wonderful weekends the past few weeks.
I am so blessed with such a wonderful family and friend network

I am trying to upload all my pictures and share them on snapfish, my camera is back from the shop and I am so excited! We spent some time with baby Will and its nice to remember that all my three were once that small and it makes tears come to my eyes, I am unsure if they are tears of joy or saddness
talk to all soon
