June 2008

Ok so I am getting with the times and creating a website to share our family events and photos. I think this is going to be great fun and easy for all to share in our super busy lives. I am new to this so who knows how this will go, but here we are. I am going to try and update once a month or when there's news to share.
So June is the busiest month of the year for our family besides, December. Jason and I had our 12 year anniversary on June 14th. We went out to dinner with friends Sheree and Adam, we met a restaurant in St. Helena. It was a nice time. Jason and I also went to visit my grandma Lillian's grave.
My mom Jill turned 50 and we had a BIG surprise party for her and my sister Sarah and my aunt Joyce flew up to be part of the surprise!
Austin turned 6 years old and had a fun swim party with his friends and family. He also got a ton of cool things. Austin is quite a good swimmer and Jason has taught him to dive and do other flips and jumps off the diving board. For gifts Austin received water toys, rollerblades, pogo stick, skateboard, new pet rat George, Star Wars sheets and blankt, wrestlers and star wars figurines and legos. He is spoiled!
Jason's brother Ryan and wife Brianna welcomed thier first baby William Robert after 27 hours of labor on 6/20/08 at 320 in the morning. He is adorable, he weighed 8 pounds 8 ounces and was 20.5 inches long. Bri looked GREAT on friday when we went to the hospital to meet baby William, not at all like she had just spent 27 hours in labor. Jason and I are blessed to be uncle and aunt again.
This weekend is our neice Madelynn's First Birthday Party ( Jason's brother Zach and wife Linsey's daughter)and we are also celebrating Adam's 30th Birthday. (Jason's brother) Adam and his daughter Tayler are in town visiting too from North Carolina.
Everyone is growing up so FAST! The rest of us are getting older:) Speaking of getting older, last month we had to put our first baby Taco, (our chihuahua) to sleep. He had injured himself and they couldn't fix him so we had to say goodbye. It was a hard day for me and the kids had a really hard time understanding. They are doing better with it now, but Austin continues to ask me when I am going to die.
I wasn't kidding about June being super busy. I love it though, spending time with family, BBQ's and swimming in the pool.
